Our Head Designer, Angus, noticed his wife instantly relax as she switched from the harsh overhead “big light” to the gentle glow of her favourite side lamp. In that instant, he realised how the right lighting could not only enhance the beauty of a space but also create an atmosphere that soothes the soul.
Driven by this revelation, Angus set out to craft a collection of timeless, dimmable lighting solutions designed to bring that same sense of calm and warmth to homes across the UK. At Ambientsy, our mission is to help you effortlessly create those perfect, inviting spaces where you can unwind, connect, and truly feel at home.
Where it started
Guided by our passion for creating beautifully lit spaces and a commitment to sustainability we explored modern energy saving LED technology, combined with unique hand blown glass bulbs that seamlessly blend with existing decor whilst bringing soft ambient light.
Our first creation
This journey led us to our very first creation, the plug-in wall light. This innovative piece blends the sophistication of exposed bulb pendant lighting with the practicality of a plug and dimmer, all elegantly mounted on our signature wall bracket.
What came next
With this success, our vision grew. We expanded our collection to include timeless pendant drop lighting, perfect for illuminating every corner of your home. Whether it’s adding a touch of elegance to your dining room, creating a cozy glow in the bedroom, or bringing soft, welcoming light to your hallway, Ambientsy’s range is designed to elevate every space with style, sustainability, and serenity.
